Darn Pink Baby

I don't know how many times we have lost Lilly's pink baby in our home. Sometimes we will find pink baby in the toy farm house, or carefully tucked under blankets or even in the van.
On Tuesday, after we had gone to the gym we headed to the BX. Lilly insisted that she take her pink baby in with her. So I let her. BIG mistake. Well it wasn't until 10:39pm that I realized Lilly must have left her pink baby at the BX.

Lucky for us, Lilly was so tired that night that she feel asleep with out pink baby.

It was a very sad feeling to have thought that pink baby was gone forever. Lilly has become so attached to it. I wasn't sure how I was going to tell her that pink baby will probably never come back.

During the night Lilly figured out that she didn't have pink baby, and she made it known to Clint and I.

Finally morning came and we loaded the kids up in the van and headed to the BX. We walked around the store looking at spots that we had been the day before, no luck. Then we headed to the lost and found. We described pink baby to the employee and she looked for pink baby in the back room. A few minutes later she came out with a very sad look on her face.....No pink baby. Then she looked in one more spot......yep pink baby was there! My heart just raced, as I heard that rattle from one of the plastic bags that contained pink baby. I was more happy to see pink baby than Lilly who at the time was staring at a wall filled with TVs.

New rule, that DARN pink baby stays in the house!!!

We also had the boys 15 month check up today! Deacon weighs a whopping 24 lbs and is 32 inches tall. Trenton is 23 lbs and is 31 inches tall. The doctor said that Deacon will tower over me and possible Clint someday.

Happy Birthday Grandma Love!

Lilly was so excited to get Grandma balloons. Lilly has grasped the concept that she has a great grandmother. So all day she said to Clint and I "It's your grandma's birthday!" and "When are we going to go to your grandma's house?"

Smashed Finger

Lilly accidentally smashed Deacons finger in the bathroom door. I made Clint take Deacon to the IHC emergency care. They took an x-ray and found that nothing was broken, but they said to watch his finger and make sure that it didn't get infected.

Clint said that the bathroom door was shut all the way...with Deacon's finger in it.
Poor Little Guy!

While Clint was gone with Deacon, Trenton was crying and holding his finger...the same one that Deacon smashed. Trenton would then go around the house saying D... D... D..which is his word for Deacon. Let me tell you, it was weird for me...this is the second time that the boys have every been apart from each other. I didn't know what to do....I am so used to doing things twice at once.
