To the Finish Line!!!

Today was the big Race Day! The Salt Lake City Marathon!

Clint, Liz and Brian ran the half marathon which is 13.1 miles. They did an awesome job. Clint wanted to finish in 2 hours or less. He finished in 2 hours 3 minutes...he says he blames his time on the slow people in front of him.

Kelsey, Jessica, Mom and I ran/walked the 5k (3.10 miles). We also did GREAT!

Even though my time wasn't exactly what I was hoping for (42 minutes), I know I did my best today!

It was such an awesome experience. Next year.....half marathon?...We'll See?!

Easter at Snow Canyon

We had such a blast down in St. George this Easter weekend. We played in red sand, slept in tents, had some yummy dutch oven food, had an egg hunt, went on a hike, rode our bikes, played with cousins, made smores, dyed Easter eggs, ate to much Easter candy, got a little sun burnt and listened to Conference.

Big Thanks to Doug and Brenda who invited us camping. IT WAS AWESOME!!!

Deacon.....WHERE?????

Yesterday, the kiddos where outside playing in the backyard.

Lilly comes inside the house, then a few minutes later Trenton comes in and usually Deacon will follow. It wasn't until Clint and I heard some crying/screaming from outside that we noticed Deacon wasn't inside the house with the rest of the kids. So Clint went to check to see why Deacon was crying. Clint told me to come here quick and look at Deacon.

I had many thoughts race through you head, broken leg, broken arm, bleeding knees. Well....I didn't image this!

I think it is time for window well covers!!!

Vitamin L

I was reading a story from The Friend to Lilly one night and in that story it talked about Vitamin L. The story was about girl who was having hard time dealing with her younger sister. Her father told her to give her younger sister Vitamin L, meaning Love.

Lilly and Deacon do not always get along. Without Clint or I saying anything to Lilly about giving Deacon Vitamin L, she told Deacon that she was going to give him some Vitamin L. (This is right after Deacon hit her.) I was so happy that Lilly could remember the important part of the story and give Vitamin L to Deacon.
