Baby Animal Days

Lilly and Kaleb wanted to try crickets and mill worms. Lilly ate them both up!

My sister and I thought it would be fun to take the kids and go to baby animals days in Wellsville. Clint was working that week but I made him come along. Thanks goodness that I did, about a mile from the baby animal location, Lilly said she wasn't feeling to great, and yep she threw up all over herself. Not being prepared like I know I should (with extra clothes), we had to go to Petersons store and purchase new clothes for Lilly. I made her wear her hat the whole time, because her hair was very unmanageable. But other than the little episode of throw up, the kids had a blast!
Lilly loved the holding the water turtles!

Hair Cut, Orange Juice and Conference

Obviously we haven't cut Deacon's or Trenton's hair. But I am really tempted too! Clint says at 2 years, but I am thinking at 18 months!

Lilly absolutely loved making orange juice....and so did the boys. (Deacon is upset because Trenton wouldn't let him stand up)

Conference weekend....the boys were down for naps and Lilly was playing in the front room, it became very quiet, so I went into the front room to find this.....

Happy Easter

Easter Morning

Easter was a blast! Lil, D and T loved the candy....a little to much I think.

I really wanted to teach Lilly about the true meaning of Easter. So we had a little chat and I told that Easter is not about the Easter bunny, but rather about the sacrifice of our Savior. I told Clint to ask Lilly what Easter was really about and her reply was " Jesus died for you, mom, Deacon, Trenton and me......and we don't have Easter without him!"

Grandma L's Egg Hunt

Grandma's grandkiddos

Trenton figured out that there was candy in the eggs, so when he got an egg he would throw down on the ground to crack it open.

Marriage: Like a dog

Treat your mate like a dog. Some suggestions taken from a dog owners manual-

1. When your dog greets you at the end of a day, pet and scratch him.
2. Give your dog the freedom to be the kind of dog he is.
3. Reward your do for doing even single tasks.
4. If the pups misbehave, don't punish the parent dog.
5. Let your dog choose his own friends.
6. If your dog is too tired to play, don't get mad at him.
7. Always greet your dog with more enthusiasm than you do your neighbor's dog.
